Starting fresh with a new website is more than just a change in design or technology. It’s an opportunity to reconnect, share who I am, and explain what my practice stands for today. This post is about welcoming you to a new space that reflects the growth, values, and services I offer. Whether you are a returning client or discovering my work for the first time, I want to share what this new chapter means and how it can benefit you.
Why a New Website Matters
A website is often the first place people learn about a practice. Over time, needs evolve, and so should the way we present ourselves online. The new website is designed to be clearer, easier to navigate, and more informative. It reflects the changes in my approach and the services I provide.
For example, the site now includes better detailed descriptions of each service, helping you understand what to expect and how I can support your goals. This website also serves as a landing spot for both my Colorado and Arkansas practices, combining information that applies to both practices while being crystal clear which link you need to schedule an appointment with me. This blog will share self-care tips, new information on massage, updates, and more.
Reintroducing Myself
Many of you know me already, but for those who don’t, here’s a bit about who I am and what drives my practice.
Most importantly to me, I’m a mom and Mimi. My greatest loves are my husband, our kids, and grands. We are a homeschooling family, just graduating our fourth kiddo this May. One more to go! A few years ago, I started thinking about a second career. What does life look like after I graduate the youngest?
I chose massage therapy after seeing how massage can change lives. When I was suffering from debilitating low back pain, and worked my way through many tests and scans and medications and doctors, I turned to massage as a last resort. I left my first session with such profound relief. After my second session, I learned that regular massage was the "cure" for my chronic pain. The cause of my pain will probably never go away, but I learned that I can live a pain free FULL life with regular massage. I've lived my best life ever since.
I decided I wanted to help others in that same way. I received my massage license in May 2024, and have been happily helping others every chance I can. I have always believed that every client deserves personalized care tailored to their unique situation. My approach combines professional expertise with genuine empathy. I listen carefully, ask questions, and work with you to find the best path forward. My goal...always...is to help you live your best life.
Over my career, I have expanded my skills and knowledge to better serve a wider range of needs. This growth is reflected in the new website, where you can learn about my background, qualifications, and the philosophy that guides my work. I want you to feel confident that you are in capable hands. I'm excited to have a space where I can share in writing what I'm learning and how my practice is growing, as well as up-to-date information on massage and its growing list of benefits.
What You Can Expect from the Practice
The core of my practice remains the same: providing thoughtful, effective support that makes a real difference. But with the new website, I can share more about how I do this day-to-day.
Here are some key features and services you will find:
Personalized consultations that focus on your goals and challenges
Flexible appointment options, nothing here will change other than a link to my booking site.
Educational materials to help you understand your options and progress
Clear communication channels so you can reach out with questions or concerns
Each of these elements is designed to create a welcoming and supportive environment, and to make your experience as smooth and positive as possible.
Looking Ahead: What’s Next for the Practice
This is definitely the year of change for Peaceful Progress Massage. Launching a new website is just the beginning. Most of you know I'm expanding my practice into Van Buren, Arkansas. My practice in Greeley, Co will remain the same other than missing one week of each month. That week will be spent helping those in Arkansas. That Arkansas practice launches in June and I am doing my best to make that transition as smooth as possible.
New modalities are being introduced in my practice. Buccal massage was added in May. I'm so excited to be offering this new offering as a stand along session or add-on. And later this year….more to come! ( So be sure to stick around!)
Final Thoughts
I'm looking forward to growing and learning in this space with you. It will be so fun to look back in a year on this first blog post and see the growth and work we accomplish together. I appreciate you, your support and encouragement, and your trust in me.
Your input is valuable. If there is something you would like to see on the website or in the practice or if you have any questions in general, I encourage you to reach out. Together, we can build a space that truly supports your journey.
